WoodPlan Forest Records is equally suited
to the management of mixed amenity woodland as it is for large
commercial plantations. The software is modular so we are able
to supply a system best suited to your needs. It may be supplied
for use as single user or over a network for multi-user access.

Forecasting
Features
The forecasting module is one of the most sophisticated ever produced
for the UK and Ireland. It allows you ‘grow on’ your
standing crop and provides information about tree or log output
over the years. It has great user flexibility in that you can
decide when to thin or fell each component per compartment and
what to retain.
While it is based on widely used models
it works by using your actual stocking data rather than those
chosen from the nearest available model.
We do provide similar systems for other
geographic areas and species where we can obtain local growth
model data.
• Thinning and felling output per year as physical volumes
• Financial output either as specified log categories or
as whole trees
• Extraction costs included and made dependant on terrain
classes.
• Ability to calculate Net Present Values and Internal Rates
of Return
Valuation
